The Acer Iconia A3-A20 is a large device which offers the access to the latest games and applications available on latest Android KitKat operating system. The tablet looks slim but has a bit of weight and is loaded with strong configurations to put up lag free performance. It got announced in August, 2014. It comes in a pack with a charger, headset, tablet, battery, USB cable, user manual and warranty card.

Display and Dimensions

It supports a large 10.1-inch IPS LCD multi touch display featuring a resolution of 1280x800 pixels along with 149 ppi pixel density and 16 million color support. The dimensions of the smart tab are measured as 256 x 171.1 x 8.9 mm and weighs at 540 grams. It comes packed with some sensors such as proximity, compass, accelerometer and ambient light sensor.

Camera and Storage

It has been supported with a 5 mega-pixel shooter with digital zoom at the back and a 2MP shooter on the front. The rear snapper carries a picture resolution of 2592x1944 pixels whereas the front one comes with a resolution of 1600x1200 pixels. For the purpose of storage, it boasts a huge 16GB or 32GB internal memory and comes loaded with memory card slot.

Processor and Operating System

It operates on Android v4.4 KitKat operating system out of the box and is backed by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor paired with Mediatek MT8127A chipset and 1GB RAM.

Connectivity and Battery

The connectivity attributes installed in the smart tab includes A-GPS, bluetooth 4.0, GPS, micro USB v2.0, USB OTG, HDMI and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Wi-Fi Hotspot. It houses a non removable Li-Po battery of 3450 mAh.

Multimedia and Other Features

The tablet come packed with number of entertaining features such as image viewer, video player, music player, video recording and games. The user can talk with their friends through pre-loaded applications i.e. 'Facebook' and 'Twitter'. One can also keep in touch via Email and IM services offered by the Acer.
