The Acer Liquid Z330 is a budget Android smartphone announced in September, 2015. It is designed by using a bar format and there is nothing impressive about it. The phone includes a dual SIM configuration and it packs a decent list of specs according to its price. It packs a 4.5-inch screen, quad-core processor, 1 GB RAM, Lollipop OS, good camera, microSD card, 3G network support and Li-Ion 2000mAh battery. While, in the market there are various smartphones at similar range that can give tough competition such as Lenovo K3 Note, Honor4X, Asus Zenfone 2 and many more. These phones even pack better list of specs than this device.

Display and Design

The smartphone features a 4.5-inch FWVGA display at front that provides 854x480 pixels resolution. It flaunts a 16 million color depth and 218 ppi pixel density. The phone has no physical keys on the bezel, it supports in built soft keys for navigation. On the back, company has used textured material which is good for providing grip to the users. Measurement wise, it has a height of 136 mm, width of 66.5 mm, thickness of 9.6 mm and it weighs at 142 grams. The device is bit bulky and heavy.

Processor and OS

It runs on Android v5.1 Lollipop operating system that provides new features and platform to the phone. Under the hood, it packs a 1.1GHz Cortex-A7 Qualcomm MSM8909 Snapdragon 210 processor and 1 GB RAM. The RAM unit is low and incompatible to the fast processing of applications. So, this could be a negative part of this phone.

Camera and Memory

For the shutterbugs, it has 5 MP camera on the back frame with auto-focus, LED flash, digital zoom, geo-tagging features. It provides a 2592x1944 pixels resolution of the pictures. The 5 MP front-facing camera is also good for the wonderful selfies. On storage front, it comes loaded with a 8 GB internal memory and it support microSD card for the additional storage. For the contacts, it supports limited phonebook capacity.

Connectivity and Battery

It operates on 2G (GSM 850 / 900 /1800 /1900 MHz ) and 3G HSDPA network frequencies. The connectivity attributes of the phone are Bluetooth v4.0, microUSB v2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot and GPS/A-GPS. For the backup, it packs a Li-Ion 2000mAH battery under the hood.

The Acer Liquid Z330 comes in Pure White and Mystic Black colors. The expected price of the phone is Euro 129 (INR 9,470 approximately).
