Alcatel is a Mobile brand that manufactures cellphones by a joint venture company Alcatel-Lucent of France and TCL Communication of China which was started in April 2004. Alcatel designs and manufactures mobile phones, smartphones that has all the android features in it. Another phone which hits the market is Alcatel One Touch Hero 2. It comes in a pack with a handset, headset, battery, charger, USB cable, user manual and a warranty card. Lets take a closer look at the specifications of this phone.

Design and Display

The smartphone has a unique design with rounded edges and packs a screen of 6 inches HD capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels. The dimensions figures include a height of 160.5 mm, width of 81.6 mm and a thickness of 7.9 mm.

The phone comes equipped with 2.0 GHz Octa-Core processor and MediaTek MT6592 chipset along with along with 2 GB of RAM. It runs on Android v 4.4 KitKat operating system that ensures fast access to the network.

It boosts up a camera of 13.1 Mega-pixels with LED flash, digital zoom, auto-focus and a resolution of 4128x3096 pixels. It also has a secondary camera of 5 Mega-pixels with a resolution of 2592x1944 pixels. For storage purpose, it has an internal memory of 16 GB that can be expanded upto 32 GB via microSD card.

On the connectivity front, it offers GPRS, EDGE, WAP, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for wireless data sharing. For navigation purpose it has A-GPS, GPS support. It operates on 2G, 3G network frequencies. It also has a battery backup of Li-ion 3100 mAh.
