Android Based Cost Effective Smartphone

Arise Mobiles has announced its latest Android based cost effective smartphone which will soon hit the markets. With its Arise Czar AR-44 smartphone, the company is aiming at entry level and middle class customers.

Dimensions and Display

The phone has got a bar format with rounded corners. It has 128 mm of height, 65.4 mm of width and 11.4 mm of thickness as its dimensions and a weight of 120 grams. Thefront is dominated by a 4 inches, WVGA capacitive touchscreen with three touch buttons at the bottom and a front camera lens at the top of the screen.

Hardware and Software

The smartphone is assembled with 1.2 GHz Dual Core processor, 512 MB of RAM and a memory expansion slot. It operates on Android v4.2 Jelly Bean Operating System and has the assistance of accelerometer and proximity sensors to help in effective operations.

Telephony and Messaging

Czar AR-44 is a 3G smartphone that runs on the Dual SIM facility. SMS, MMS, Email and IM along with the support of T9 dictionary and Predictive text input are some of the facilities available on the messaging front.

Camera

The device supports both the cameras. On the rear panel, it has 2 MP camera which provides a resolution of 1600x1200 pixels, while on the front it has a VGA camera with a resolution of 640x480 pixels.

Entertainment

To meet the entertainment needs of the customer, it features music player, image viewer, video recorder, video player, games, FM radio, SNS integration and ringtones.

The smartphone has the connectivity options for Wi-Fi, GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth and USB. The company claims that it has a Li-ion battery of 1500 mAh.

The phone will be available in White color at a price of Rs 4,499 approximately.

Verdict

The company has aimed at providing high end smartphone features at a pocket friendly price. For this, it has featured the phone with all the essential features like Android v4.2 OS, 1.2 GHz processor, 1500 mAh battery and 3G support. So, it is a good value for money product.
