Asus Pegasus 2 Plus X550 is a second smartphone from the new Pegasus series of Asus. Its a successor of Pegasus X002 smartphone and it has a lot to offer such as big 5.5-inch screen, 3GB RAM, octa-core processor, 2G/3G/4G support, Lollipop operating system, 3030mAH battery and wonderful 13MP camera. It comes in a pack with charger, handset, user manual, battery, earphone and warranty card. Let's have a deeper look on its specifications below:

Display and Design

The front of the phone is dominated by a 5.5-inch full HD capacitive touchscreen that provides a clear and rich visual of every picture, video or games etc., user see. It offers screen resolution of 1920x1080 pixels and 16 million color depth. As far as design concerns, it comes with impressive design with some similarities to HTC phone. It doesn't support physical buttons on bottom bezel, instead it comes with a ASUS badge at center with soft keys inside the screen.

Processor and OS

It is powered by 1.5GHz octa-core 64-bit processor under the hood with Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset and Adreno 405 GPU. It have two options in RAM - 2GB and 3GB. The processor is power enough to handle multitasks with ease with less consumption of battery. It runs a latest version of OS called Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

Camera and Memory

For the photography, it comes equipped with 13MP camera on the back frame with LED flash, digital zoom, auto-focus, geo-tagging and it provides picture resolution of 4128x3096 pixels. While on the front, it has got a 8MP camera which is pretty good unit for the front panel. It provides quality selfies and video calling. In the terms of storage, ASUS has offered two variants - 16GB and 32GB. So user can opt according to their need. While the phonebook capacity it allows is unlimited.

Connectivity and Battery

The connectivity options of the phone are Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, microUSB v2.0 and GPS/A-GPS. While, it has a support of 2G, 3G and 4G network frequencies. It draws a day long backup from 3030mAh battery.

Shades and Price

The ASUS Pegasus 2 Plus X550 is available in two color options including White and Rose Gold. It is selling in Chinese market for CNY 799. If it launch in Indian market, it is expected to be priced at INR 8,000.
