BQ S40 is an entry-level smartphone announced in March, 2015. It is a budget friendly handset which is powered by many good features such as 5 MP rear camera with 2 MP front shooter, 4 GB internal memory as well as 32 GB expandable memory. Display

It boasts a 5-inch IPS LCD capacitive display which supports a resolution of 1280x720 pixels. It is a multi-touch device which has a pixel density of 294 ppi and comes with a color depth of 16 million. It comes packed with accelerometer sensor and proximity sensor.

Processor and Operating System

This dual SIM device is powered by 1.3 GHz Quad core processor joined with MediaTek MT6582M chipset. It is coupled with 1 GB RAM. It works on Android v4.4.2 (KitKat) operating system.

Camera and Storage

In order to click pictures or to make videos, BQ has used 5 MP rear camera which poses a resolution of 2592x1944 pixels. It includes features like digital zoom, geo-tagging, LED flash and auto-focus. The user can record 720p videos at 30 frames per second. As far as selfies and video calls are concerned, it has 2 MP front shooter which poses a resolution of 1600x1200 pixels. It comes loaded with 4 GB internal memory which can be further expanded up to 32 GB through microSD card.

Connectivity and Battery

For the connectivity purpose, it support features like 3G, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth, microUSB 2.0, Wi-Fi, EDGE and GPRS. It is energized by Li-ion 1800 mAH battery which promises a talktime of up to 12 hours and standby time of up to 500 hours.
