3G Based Dual SIM Smartphone

Celkon A40 was released in January, 2014. The phone has a screen size of 4.0-inches and is committed to provide a resolution of 800x480 pixels and a pixel density of 233ppi. The smartphone comes with a height of 126.2mm, width of 64.0mm and a thickness of 10.8mm as its dimensions along with a weight of 126.5grams. The device features a dual SIM functionality.

The device runs on Android v4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system. The smartphone comes equipped with a 1.3GHz dual-core processor coupled with a 512MB of RAM. The device has an internal storage of 4GB which can be expanded to another 32GB with the use of micro SD card. It has a support for 2G (GSM 900/1800 MHz) network. There is a 3.5mm jack present on the lower end of the device while plug-in for charger and USB are on the top it.

Celkon A40 has a centrally placed rear camera of 5MP which provides a photo resolution of 2592x1944 pixels and is featured with a digital zoom. It is also capable of video recording. The 0.3 MP secondary camera provides a resolution of 640x480 pixels.

The phone has a connectivity option for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB, GPRS, EDGE and 3G. Celkon A40 is featured with GPS which helps in navigation and location detection. The device comes preloaded with some of the Google applications like Google search, Gmail, Google Maps, Yahoo Mail, You-tube, Facebook etc. The phone features a FM radio, music and video player for the listening pleasure.

Celkon A40 is available in three bright color options: Blue, Yellow and White. It packs a battery of 1500 mAh which is quite workful. The approximate price of this smart and featured phone is Rs. 5,890. The main rival of Celkon A40 is Lava Xolo A500 Club in terms of price as well as features.
