Celkon C40 is a bar shaped touchscreen phone announced in July, 2014. It is an entry level multimedia device with dual SIM functionality. The handset is simple, handy and has a decent look. It supports Mini SIM and works on 2G (GSM 900/ 1800 MHz) network frequency. The box content includes battery, charger, handset, earphone, user manual, USB cable and warranty card.

The dual SIM phone has got a length of 125.8mm, a width of 61.6mm and a thickness of 9.9mm. It has a standard 4-inch LCD display that offers a resolution of 272x480 pixels equipped with 138 pixels per inch. The mobile runs on a proprietary operating system and possess a 1.3MP camera with video recording option. The picture resolution of the camera is 1280 x 1024 pixels. It does not support front camera for video calling. It comes with a 4GB internal storage which is expandable upto 32GB through memory card slot.

It has connectivity attributes like bluetooth and GPRS and is packed with some multimedia features such as music player, FM radio, games and video recording. Celkon C40 is powered by a Li-Ion 1100 mAh battery that promises to deliver a long lasting battery backup. For messaging, it has a facility of SMS and Email for sharing and receiving texts and mails from clients, friends and relatives. Alarm clock, calendar and organiser are the basic features present in the phone which are mostly available in every basic and android phones. The phone also comes loaded with some special features like Auto call record with folder, Reject By SMS, 3D UI, Opera Mini, and Whats App.

Celkon C40 is available in Black shade at an affordable price. If you want to purchase a touchscreen phone with basic features and camera is not your concern, than this mobile is worth to buy.
