Mid-Range SmartPhone With Dual SIM Configuration

Celkon Millennia Epic Q550 is a mid-range smartphone launched in November, 2014 by Indian company Celkon. It comes with dual SIM configuration and has big screen along with decent specification.

Display and Design

Front of this smartphone is dominated by a 5.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen which responds beautifully to the touch gestures and it has a display resolution of 720x1280 pixels, 16M color depth and 267ppi pixel density. Measurement wise, it holds a length of 152mm, width of 76mm, thickness of 7.9mm and it weighs at 143.8 grams. The device is also built with accelerometer and proximity sensor.

Processor and OS

Processing the phone is a 1.3GHz Quad-core processor, MediaTek MT6582 chipset and Mali-400 GPU. It is paired up with 1GB RAM to perform multiple tasks easily and without any delay. The operating system version offered in this phone is a Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

Camera and Memory

For the shutterbugs, it brings 8MP rear camera with LED flash and front-facing camera of 2MP for the selfies. It also allow you to record HD videos. For the storage purpose, it comes loaded with an inbuilt memory of 16GB which can be expanded up to 64GB via microSD card.

Connectivity and Battery

This wonderful smartphone offers you GPRS, EDGE, bluetooth, microUSB 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Wi-Fi hotspot as its connectivity features. While, to draw long hours back up, Epic Q550 comes fitted with a Li-Ion 3500mAH battery.

Multimedia and Other Features

It supports FM Radio and MP3 player to keep you busy in idle time. Other features available in the phone are document viewer, photo editor, voice memo/dial. While messaging features of the phone includes SMS, MMS and Email.
