Colors Xfactor Wave X22 is a stylish yet functional smartphone that got released in market in December, 2013. Its box contents includes a handset, battery, charger, earphone, USB cable, user manual and warranty card.

Design and Display

The phone has been designed in a bar format having curved ends. There is a metal rim around the bezel which houses a micro USB, 3.5 mm jack as well as the volume and power buttons. Its front panel consists of a screen and three touch buttons beneath it. It has 119 mm of height, 62.5 mm of width and 10.5 mm of thickness as its dimensions. Colors Xfactor Wave X22 comes with a 3.5 inches capacitive HVGA touchscreen with a resolution of 480x320 pixels.

Hardware and Software

It is powered by a 1 GHz Dual Core processor and 256 MB RAM which works fine, with not too many lags. It comes with 512 MB of storage that can be expanded up to 32 GB with a microSD slot. The phone operates on the Android v4.2.2 Jelly Bean Operating System and avails some basic sensors like accelerometer and gesture.

Telephony and Messaging

The device runs on 2G ( GSM 900 / 1800 MHz ) frequencies only. It comes with the Dual SIM ( GSM + GSM ) facility with dual stand-by support that enables connection with two networks at the same time. For messaging, it supports SMS, MMS, Email, SNS and IM along with the T9 dictionary feature that helps in typing.

Camera

The device comes packed with a rear camera of 3.2 MP with zoom facility that provide a resolution of 2048x1536 pixels and a VGA front camera with a resolution of 640x480 pixels.

Entertainment

Coming on to entertainment front, it has inbuilt MP3 player for music and MP4 player for videos. User can play games, set ringtones on the phone, record videos or listen to FM radio anytime.

Connectivity and Battery

The smartphone features Zapya which is the fastest cross platform device sharing tool. It comes with the connectivity options for GPRS, Wi-Fi, EDGE, Bluetooth, USB and GPS. The phone has been fueled with a Li-ion battery of 1200 mAh.
