Dell has launched several smartphones in the series called Venue, which is the line of Android based tablet and smartphones. The Dell Venue 8 7840 is one of the member of Venue series which was announced in January, 2015. It packs a Quad-core processor, KitKat Os, good camera, 8.4- inch screen and microSD card support. It comes in a pack with tablet, charger, user manual, USB cable, battery and headphones.

Display and Design

Also known as the thinnest tablet, it comes with a 8.4- inch OLED infinity display at front. It provides clear and rich visuals to its users and is ideal for watching videos, playing games and texting. It has a display resolution of 2560x1600 pixels. The overall dimensions of the tablet includes 215 mm height, 124 mm width and 6.1 mm thickness. Its slim and sleek design not only look amazing but also offers firm grip while holding.

Processor and OS

It is powered by 2.3 GHz Quad-core Intel Atom Z3580 processor that is coupled with 2 GB RAM to handle multi-tasking efficiently without resulting in any lag. While, it runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.

Camera and Memory

It has 8 MP camera at the back panel so that one can click and save all the precious moments of their life. The highest resolution one can set for the pictures is 3264x2448 pixels. On the other hand, it packs 2 MP camera at front for the selfies of good quality. For the storage purpose, it has an internal memory of 16 GB which can be further expandable through the microSD card. So, one can easily store their important data in the device without any worry.

Connectivity

The tablet has Wi-Fi connectivity for the faster internet experience and Bluetooth version 4.0 to assist in wireless data sharing as its connectivity features. The fast speed surfing and sharing of data is the most important requirement of the users.
