4G Based Dual SIM Smartphone With Latest Operating System

Gionee is a Chinese company known for its slim smartphones. It has launched several series of smartphone in the market, Elife S series is one of them. The Gionee Elife S7 is a slimmest device announced by the company in March, 2015. It holds a just 5.2 mm thickness which is rarely seen in other brand's smartphones. It packs a latest operating system, big screen, octa-core processor, dual SIM support, wonderful camera, powerful battery and lots more pre-loaded apps. The company has also added two more smartphones in the Elife S series such as Elife S5.5 and Elife S5.1.

Display and Design

The phone features a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen at front with 16M color depth, 424ppi pixel density and 1080x1920 pixels resolution. It supports multitouch gestures of up to 5 fingers and the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating at front protect it from the scratches. Dimensions of the phone are measured as 139.8x67.4x5.5 mm and it weighs around 126 grams. The sheer slimness of the phone will definitely amaze you and yes, holding the phone will need care too.

Processor and OS

At the heart, the phone packs 1.7GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 processor and MediaTek MT6572 chipset. It is coupled with 2 GB RAM to perform all the basic operations and to provide ample space to the data that need fast access. Running the device is an Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system.

Camera and Memory

For the wonderful photography, this device comes equipped with a 13 MP camera at the back panel with some features like LED flash, auto-focus, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection and panorama mode. On the other hand, it has 8 MP camera at front for the selfies. It also allows its user to record full HD videos. For the storage purpose, it comes loaded with an internal memory of 16 GB. For the additional storage there is no provision, it doesn't support microSD card.

Connectivity and Battery

It offers Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth v4.0, microUSB v2.0 and GPS as its connectivity features. The battery ticking inside the phone is a non-removable Li-Ion 2750 mAh battery which is rated to deliver long usage period.
