Gionee is known for its slim and sleek mobiles. It has contributed many sleek smartphone to the Indian market. The Gionee Pioneer P5L is the newest entry in the Gionee's portfolio. It has a Dual SIM configuration which allows you to use two SIM cards simultaneously. This budget smartphone is also compatible with 4G LTE frequency. It comes with a decent specification as well as design.

Display and Design

Pioneer P5L features a 4.7-inch HD screen which provides you rich visual experience and it has a display resolution of 480x854 pixels. It flaunts 16 Million color depth and 208ppi pixel density. Like the other handsets of Gionee, this device also have a slim body design that make it stand out in a crowd.

Processor and OS

Inside the Pioneer P5L is a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor along with Mali 400 GPU and 1GB RAM. While it runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system which let you switch between apps easily.

Camera and Memory

On camera front, it has digital zoom 5MP camera on the back panel with LED flash and the highest resolution you can set for the pictures is 2592x1944 pixels. For the front shots and video chat, it has 2MP camera which clicks at 1600x1200 pixels resolution. For the storage purpose, it comes loaded with 8GB internal memory which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.

Connectivity and Battery

The battery ticking inside the phone is of 1800mAH unit which promises a good backup. Connectivity features of the phone includes bluetooth, A-GPS, EDGE, GPRS, Wi-FI, GPS and USB cable. It works on 2G (GSM 1800/900 MHz), 3G (HSDPA 2100 MHz) and 4G LTE network frequencies.
