An Affordable Android Smartphone from Hi-tech

Hi-Tech S800 Amaze is an affordable phone which is available in Black shade. It is a dual SIM phone available for Rs 7,499 approximately. The users who looks for utility not brand can go with this device. It is the strong contender in the segment of low end mobiles. It can give a tough competition to the handsets launched by mobile manufacturers namely Intex, Lava and Micromax. Under the box, the slim phone provides handset, battery, charger, earphone, USB Cable, user manual and warranty card which are regarded as the major contents of the device.

Processor and Operating System

The low budget phablet runs on Android v4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) operating system and is powered by 1 GHz dual core processor. Th OS provides mobile compatibility for several applications available on the Google Play Store.

Storage

It features 4 GB of internal memory and 512 MB of RAM storage which is used in order to store applications and data. Hi-Tech S800 Amaze also gets 3GB expandable memory and microSD card which helps to store huge amount of data including files, documents, songs and movies.

Camera

The 8MP primary camera is able to record videos at 30 frames/second while 2MP secondary camera gives the good experience of video calling. The picture quality of the device is good for indoor and outdoor mode and LED flash is available in order to give sufficient light whenever it is required.

Connectivity and Battery

A GPS support, 3G inbuilt modem, Wi-Fi, USB, Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE and 3.5mm audio jack are the important features giving good connectivity with the outside world. The Li-ion 2000 mAh battery promises a talk-time of 8 hours and a stand-by time of 100 hours. S800 Amaze offers a wide 5 inch capacitive touchscreen display with 480x800 pixel resolution.

Entertainment

On the multimedia front the S800 Amaze features FM Radio, games, video player, music player and image viewer which are considered as good time pass. The bar shaped phone supports messaging features like SMS, MMS, Email and IM for the sharing of texts and emails without any verbal conversation.

Verdict

Hi-tech provides the warranty of 1 year on this product which is limited to manufacturing flaws only and does not include any external defects caused to the handset.
