Huawei Honor 3X Pro got announced in May, 2014. It is expected to hit the markets in June, 2014. The box contents includes a handset, battery, charger, earphone, USB cable, user manual and warranty card.

Design and Display

The phone is designed using a bar format. It has 8.9 mm of thickness and a weight of 162 grams. Huawei Honor 3X Pro has got a 5.5 inches, capacitive IPS LTPS touchscreen with a Full HD resolution of 1080x1920 pixels, 401ppi pixel density and Emotion 2.0 User Interface.

Hardware and Software

It has been powered by 1.7 GHz Octa Core processor and 2 GB RAM. Presence of Mali 450 GPU ensures good graphics experience. On the storage part, it has an internal memory of 32 GB which can be expanded up to 64 GB with a microSD slot. The phone operates on the Android v4.2.2 Jelly Bean Operating System. It also avails accelerometer, proximity, gyro and compass sensors to have effective operations.

Telephony and Messaging

The device operates on 2G ( GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz ) and 3G ( HSDPA 900 / 2100 MHz) frequencies. It features Dual SIM ( GSM + GSM ) facility with Dual stand-by support that lets you to stay connected with two networks at the same time. For messaging it supports SMS, MMS, Email, Push Mail and IM. It also has the T9 dictionary and predictive text input feature that helps in typing. 

Camera

The device has a rear camera of 13 MP that provide a resolution of 4128x3096 pixels. The camera comes with features like Zoom, LED Flash, panorama, auto-focus, HDR, touch focus, Geo-tagging, face detection and Full HD video recording. It also has a 5 MP front camera that provide a resolution of 2560x1920 pixels.

Entertainment

For entertainment, it features music player, image viewer/ editor, video recorder, video player, games, FM radio, ringtones, SNS Integration, inbuilt apps and java support. Plus availability of loudspeaker and 3.5 mm jack further increases its capabilities.

Connectivity and Battery

The device has connectivity options for GPRS, Wi-Fi, EDGE, Bluetooth, USB and Handsfree. It also has GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS support that helps in navigation. The phone packs a Li-ion battery of 3000 mAh.

Shades And Price

The phone is available in Black and White colors at a price of Rs 15,900 approximately.

Conclusion

Huawei Honor 3X Pro has amazing features but it disappoints on the software part as it does not has the latest Operating System.
