Huawei Mate S is a stunning high-end smartphone from the Chinese tech. It was announced in August, 2015. The smartphone is a new innovation and it just beyond the expectations. It comes with new display technology called pressure-sensitive that allows a new method of interaction with device. The other flagship features are 5.5-inch screen, Lollipop OS, 13 MP rear camera, Octa-core processor and 2700mAh battery. It comes in a sales package with handset, headset, charger, USB cable, Quick start guide, needle and leather case. The detailed specs of this phone is below:

Display and Design

It comes equipped with a 5.5-inch FHD AMOLED ONCELL display at front that ensures superb clarity of the pictures, videos and texts etc. It includes 2.5D screen, compact integration, Knuckle 2.0, smart-pressure sensitive screen and navigation key function features. It flaunts a 16 million color depth, 401ppi pixel density and 1920x1080 pixels resolution. It is also coated with 'Corning Gorilla Glass 4' protection. The phone's body measures a height of 149.8mm, width of 75.3mm, thickness of 7.2mm and it weighs at 156 grams.

Processor and OS

It comes powered by an octa-core (4x2.2 GHz + 4x1.5GHz) 64-bit processor, Hisilicon Kirin 935 chipset and Mali-T628 MP4 GPU. It is paired to 3 GB RAM to handle all the operations efficiently without much consumption of battery. The operating system version offered in this handset is an Android v5.1 Lollipop with EMUI 3.1.

Camera and Memory

For the photography too, it brings amazing features along with powerful 13 MP rear camera. It has Dual-tone LED flash, professional mode, sapphire camera lens, real-time black and white filter, HDR+, digital zoom, auto-focus and geo-tagging features for double the fun of photography. On storage front, there are three options in internal memory 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB. But, it doesn't support microSD card.

Connectivity and Battery

The smartphone offers Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, USB, GPS/A-GPS and Bluetooth v4.0 as its connectivity features. It supports 2G GSM, 3G UMTS and 4G LTE network. The applications like Facebook and Twitter comes pre-loaded in the phone. It also supports SMS, MMS, Email and IM as its messaging facilities. For the backup, it comes powered with a 2700mAh battery under the hood.
