Overview

3G Based Andorid Smartphone With Decent Features

Huawei Y336 is a 3G based Android smartphone announced in July, 2015. It is an affordable handset which is being offered with decent features like 3G connectivity, 5MP rear camera, 4 inch screen, KitKat operating system and 1.2 GHz quad-core processor. It is a dual SIM smartphone which comes in single shade only. Lets take a closer look at the features and specifications of this smartphone.

Display and Dimensions

It houses a 4 inch multi-touch display supporting resolution of 800x480 pixels. It has a color depth of 16 million and its viewing angles are decent. It supports only accelerometer sensor. It is a bar shaped handset which has a height of 122.6mm, a width of 63.8mm and a thickness of 10.9mm. Look wise, it looks good and is easily to carry and hold. It can easily fit into your palm easily.

Processor and Operating System

The dual SIM smartphone has been powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad-core processor joined with Spreadtrum 7731 chipset and 512 MB RAM which is not good for multi-tasking. It uses a Android v4.4 (KitKat) OS with Emotion UI 3.0 Lite.

Camera and Storage

The 5MP camera has been fitted at the rear panel of the device which supports a resolution of 2592x1944 pixels. The camera features include auto-focus, digital zoom, geo-tagging, face detection and LED flash. The front side is designed with 2MP camera which is used for selfies and video call and is able to produce a resolution of 1600x1200 pixels. It comes equipped with 4GB internal memory which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.

Connectivity and Battery

The internet and connectivity options include 3G, A-GPS, GPS, Bluetooth v4.0, microUSB, EDGE, GPRS and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. It has been backed by a 1730 mAh battery which offers decent talktime and standby time.
