Intex Technologies is an Indian mobile manufacturer which was introduced in the year 1996. The company has announced the Intex Star One, a dual SIM device in June, 2014. The box packs a handset, battery, charger adopter, ear phone, data cable, warranty card and user manual. Let's check out the details of Intex Star One.

Design and Display

The Star One is based on a bar format that features alphanumeric keypad present below the screen. It comes with a height of 111.85mm, width of 48.0mm and a thickness of 12.6mm as its dimensions along with a weight of 70grams. The phone has a TFT display of 1.8-inches with a capacity to display 262K colors and provides a resolution of 128x160 pixels.

Software

Intex Star One has the internal memory of 60 KB which can be expanded to another 32 GB with the help of micro SD card. Other software features includes Google, yahoo, peer control, game, facebook, mobile tracker, auto call record, STK, calender, world clock, calculator, timer, alarm, stop watch, life-box, preloaded browser, data protector and Ebook reader.

Telephony and Messaging

This Dual SIM device supports GSM 900/1800 frequencies. The phonebook has the capacity to store a list of 500-1000 TF contacts. There is a SMS facility available for the device along with a storage capacity up to 200 SMS at one time.

Camera

Intex Star One has a 0.3 MP main camera which is featured with a digital zoom and takes 640x480 resolution pictures. The web camera is also available for the phone.

Multimedia

The music player and FM radio provides entertainment to the users and supports AMR, MP3, WAV and AAC audio formats. The video player comes with the support for AVI, 3GP and MP4 video formats. There is a 3.5 mm earphone jack available for the device.

Connectivity and Battery

The connectivity attributes of the Star One includes Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP, GPRS, EDGE, WAP and USB-PC connectivity. The device has a Li-Ion 1000 mAh battery which offers a talk-time up to 10 hours and a stand-by time up to 300 hours.
