Karbonn A1 Pro is a compact and affordable smartphone with outdated operating system backed by a poor battery backup. It was announced in August, 2014. It has dual SIM compatibility with dual stand-by support. It comes in a pack with a charger, battery, handset, earphone, USB cable, user manual and warranty card.

Display

It poses a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen that comes with a resolution of 480x320 pixels and 165 ppi pixel density. A TFT touchscreen means that each pixel of your device is equipped with a tiny transistor, which enables crisp images, animations and graphics. With a rounded body, the handset feels good to hold and look at.

Processor and Operating System

The bar shaped device is backed by a 1Ghz processor and operates on Android v4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. The processor is paired with a RAM of 256MB.

Camera and Storage

On the rear panel of a smartphone is a 3MP autofocus camera equipped with LED flash and digital zoom that offers a resolution of 2048x1536 pixels. It helps user to click selfies, enjoy video calling and share pictures with pals. The Karbonn A1 Pro comes with 512MB internal memory and a microSD card that is expandable up to 32GB.

Connectivity and Battery

It supports limited connectivity and networking features such as bluetooth, dual SIM slots, microUSB, EDGE, GPRS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and handsfree. It is fueled by a 1100 mAh Li-ion battery offering up to 200 hours of standby time and up to 3.5 hours of talktime in 2G mode.

Multimedia and Other Features

The dual SIM smartphone comes equipped with all the regular entertaining features such as 3.5mm audio jack, Google search, Google play store, FM radio, image viewer, music player, video player, voice recording, video recording and games. Other basic and common features offered by the Karbonn includes alarm clock, calendar, clock, organiser and SNS integration.
