Design

Karbonn K1010 is a Dual SIM device which was announced in July, 2011. The box comes packed with a handset, battery, charger, user manual, USB cable, ear phone and a warranty card. The details of phone are given below.

Design and Display

The K1010 is designed by using a touch bar format which is easy to use. It comes with a height of 107.2 mm, width of 56.1 mm and a thickness of 11.8 mm as its dimensions along with a weight of 85 grams. The device features a TFT capacitive touchscreen of 2.8-inches which provides a resolution of 320x240 pixels. The touch of phone is smooth and well responsive to the input signals.

Memory and Battery

The phone has an internal memory of 300 KB which can be expanded to another 8 GB with the help of a micro SD card. The K1010 is equipped with a standard Li-Ion 1050 mAh battery which offers a talk-time up to 4 hours and a stand by up to 250 hours.

Telephony and Messaging

The K1010 operates on GSM 900/1800 MHz frequencies. One can store a list of 1000 contacts to the phonebook. There is a SMS and MMS facility available for the device. Moreover the call quality offered is quite good.

Camera

The 1.3 MP camera comes with a digital zoom and takes 1280x1024 resolution pictures. Other camera features are smile detection, scenes, continuous shooting and multi shot. There is no front camera available for the K1010.

Multimedia and Apps

The Karbonn K1010 has a music player and FM radio for the listening pleasure. It also features a video player and recorder which offers a good quality sound and entertainment to the users. The phone comes pre-loaded with Snaptu apps and mobile tracker. The WAP browser is there to handle the apps.
