The Karbonn mobile makers are known for its rich features and budget smartphones. It has introduced many series in the market. Platinum series is one of them. The Karbonn Platinum P9 is the latest device of this series which was announced in March, 2015. The main attraction of this handset is its front-facing camera and sleek physique. Feature wise, it has 6-inch display, quad-core processor, KitKat operating system, good camera, screen protection category, 2500mAh battery and 1 GB RAM. While, it also support dual SIM configuration to divide your personal and professional number. Let's have a brief look of its specification below :

Display and Design

The front of the phone dominates a big 6-inch qHD IPS display which offers rich and clear visual of all the objects. It has a display resolution of 540x960 pixels. The Corning Gorilla Glass 3 technology used in phone protect it from scratches and damages. The handset features a rectangular design and gives a curves a miss for being an elegant looking device. Measurement wise, it has a height of 166 mm, width of 86.6 mm, thickness of 8.5 mm along with a weight of 150 grams.

Processor and OS

It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor under the hood along with a 1 GB RAM. It let the users switch between applications smoothly with less power consumption and standby time. The operating system version offered in this device is an Android 4.4 KitKat.

Camera and Memory

For the photography, it is equipped with 8 MP camera at the back with LED flash that helps you enjoy clicking in dark conditions. While, it sports same 8 MP camera at the front for the selfies of good quality. For the storage purpose, it packs an internal memory of 16 GB which can be further expandable up to 32 GB through microSD card.

The Karbonn Platinum P9 is not yet released officially but it is available to purchase from the online retailer, Snapdeal.com at Rs. 8,899 approximately. In the terms of shades, it is available in only Black color.
