Karbonn Titanium K900 Review

Overview

A Basic Featured Phone
By Amrit

Karbonn Titanium K900 is a dual SIM handset introduced in July, 2014. Loaded with a host of complementary services such as torchlight, auto call recording, mobile tracker and and support for multiple languages, it is much more than just a basic feature phone. It is provided with box contents which includes a charger, handset, USB cable, headphone, battery and user manual.

The device's front is dominated by a 3.2 inch TFT display with a resolution of 320x240 pixels and a pixel density of 181 ppi. It is dual SIM phone which is designed by using a bar format. The mobile comes packed with a 1.3MP rear camera with digital zoom that flaunts a resolution of 1280x1024 pixels. Unfortunately, it is not equipped with front facing camera for the purpose of video calling and selfies. It is an affordable device which is available in 'Black' and 'White'shade in the market.

The device works on 2G (GSM 900 /1800 MHz) network frequency. It is powered by Proprietary operating system. The company has added 16GB of expandable memory to store files and documents. The user can store 1000 contacts in its phonebook memory. One can also feed 500 SMS but not more than that. The pocket sized mobile is energized by Li-Ion 1200 mAh battery that promises a talk-time of 6 hours and stand-by time of 400 hours.

The Titanium K900 has limited connectivity features such as bluetooth, GPRS and WAP and lacks other regular attributes like 3G, Wi-Fi etc. Talking about the phone's multimedia department it is bundled with few features such as music player, FM Radio with recording, games and loud speaker. It also supports MP3 ringtones. SMS and MMS are the only two services which the user can use for texting and messaging.

Overall, it is a decent phone which meets the user's expectations in terms of a powerful backup and a huge space.
