Karbonn telecommunications is a firm in India which was founded in March, 2009. It is a joint venture mobile manufacturing company between Bangalore-based UTL Group and Delhi-based Jaina Group. Its headquarters are located in Bangalore, Noida, India. The company has announced a new smartphone called the Titanium S9 Lite in June, 2014. This phone serves as a variant for the old Karbonn Titanium S9. The box packs a handset, charger, USB cable, battery, earphone, user manual and a warranty card. Design and Display

Karbonn Titanium S9 Lite is a stylish phone as far as looks are concerned. It requires careful handling while holding longer conversations due to its large size. The overall look of this smartphone is impressive with a nice wide qHD IPS capacitive touchscreen of 5.5-inches which provides a resolution of 960x540 pixels. It features three feather touch soft keys which are present at the bottom of display for options, home and back. The phone responds to every single touch smoothly and quickly.

The Titanium S9 Lite is powered by a fast and powerful Quad-core 1.3 GHz processor which works very efficiently. The smartphone comes with a RAM of 512 MB and an internal storage of 4 GB which can be expanded to another 32 GB by using a micro SD card. It runs on the Android v4.2 Jelly Bean operating system.

Karbonn Titanium S9 Lite is a dual SIM device that operates on 2G (GSM) and 3G (HSDPA) frequencies. SMS, MMS, IM and email are some of the messaging and emailing facilities available for this smartphone. It also features predictive text input which makes typing easier and faster.

The Titanium S9 Lite has a rear shooter of 8 MP which provides a photo resolution of 3264x2448 pixels and is featured with an LED flash and digital zoom.
