Lava 3G 402 Plus is a smartphone with good looks and decent features at an affordable price. Its box contents includes a handset, battery, charger, earphone, data cable, user manual, screen guard, flip cover and warranty card.

The phone has been designed beautifully in a bar shape with curved ends. It has 125.5 mm of height, 64.5 mm of width and 11.4 mm of thickness as its dimensions with a weight of 124 grams. The front is adorned with 4.0 inches WVGA capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 480x800 pixels and 233ppi pixel density.

Hardware and Software

The Lava 3G 402 Plus houses the 1.2 GHz Dual Core processor coupled with Mali-400 GPU. It has 512 MB RAM and operates on Android v4.2 Jelly Bean Operating System. As far as storage is concerned, the device has 4 GB of on-board storage which can be expanded up to 32 GB with a microSD slot.

Telephony and Messaging

Iris 402 Plus operates on 2G ( GSM 900 / 1800 MHz ) and 3G ( UMTS 2100 MHz ) network frequencies. Being a dual SIM phone, it supports two GSM connections but you can use only one at a time. On the messaging front, user can use the T9 dictionary and Predictive text input feature to do SMS, MMS, Email, Push Mail and IM.
