Lava has launched Iris 465 a mid range smartphone in the Iris series. The main highlighted feature of this smartphone is, it supports 21 Indian languages. It supports Hindi, Bodo, Sanskrit, Nepali, Marathi, Dogri, Konkani, Kashmiri, Sindhi, Bengali, Assamese, Maithili, Maniouri, Gujarati, Punjabi, Santali, Oriya, Tamil, Telugu, Malyalam, Kannada. The box-content includes handset, charger, headset, USB Cable, battery, user manual, warranty card. Take a closer look at Lava Iris 465.

Design and Display

It comes with a 4.5 inch (11.3 cm) FWVGA touchscreen that can display more than 16 million colors at 480 x 854 pixels of screen resolution and 218 ppi pixel density. Multi-touch display technology is also there in the phone. The smartphone has a dimensions of 134.4mm X 68mm X 10mm and 146 gm in weight. It has two SIM slots with dual standby option.

Camera

Lava Iris 465 comes with a 3.2 MP primary camera with image resolution of 2048x1536 Pixels. It comes with modern features like face recognition, smile detection, self-timer, panorama and 3GP video modes, as well as a VGA front camera for selfies.

Processor and Memory

The smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz Dual Core coupled with 512 MB of RAM. It operates on Latest version of Android that is Android trade; v4.4 KitKat. It comes with a 4 GB of internal memory out of which only 2.27 GB is for users. But, one can expand it up to 32 GB by using microSD card slot.

Battery

The smartphone packs in a Li-ion 1750 mAh battery which claims to offer up to 22 hours 58 minutes of talk time on 2G and 10 hours 41 mins talktime on 3G.

Connectivity

On the connectivity front it supports to 2G GSM 900 / 1800 MHz and 3G HSDPA 2100 MHz frequencies. Other connectivity options are GPRS, EDGE, microUSB v2.0, GPS with A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v3.0. One can download videos and songs at HSPA 21.1/5.76 Mbps downloading speed. Lava Iris 465 comes with FM player, music and video player etc.
