Lava International Ltd is a fast growing mobile manufacturing company, headquartered in Noida, India. Its Lava KKT 28S is a basic featured phone which includes a handset, battery, charger, headset and user manual.

Design and Display

Lava KKT 28S has got a simple classic bar format with the front consisting of a screen, four keys surrounding the square shaped D-pad and an alphanumeric keypad below it. It has a good build quality and is easy to use. It comes packed in dimensions of 129 mm of height, 56 mm of width and 12.6 mm of thickness. It has got a 2.8 inches QVGA display with a resolution of 240x320 pixels.

Memory

The phone is limited in terms of internal memory, having the capacity to store 100 SMS and 500 contacts in the phonebook. But it can be expanded up to 8 GB using a microSD card.

Telephony and Messaging

KKT 28S is a Dual SIM handset which works on two GSM connections at the same time. It operates on the GSM 900 MHz and 1800 MHz frequencies. For messaging, it avails SMS along with the support of T9 dictionary and Predictive Text Input feature. Coming on the calling part, the phone features handsfree, auto call recorder, call history, call duration and speed dial type of facilities.

Camera

The handset comes loaded with a 0.3 MP camera at the back with Zoom and Flash facility. It gives decent pictures both in normal and dim light conditions. User can also record videos with this camera which will be saved in AVI format.

Entertainment

For entertainment, it comes installed with a music player and a video player. On the audio front, the handset supports mp3, wav and amr formats with ease. The video player supports 3gp, mp4 and avi formats. The sound quality of the phone is good while playing music and taking calls. The phone also comes with a FM radio with the recording option that means user can save his /her favorite track in the memory card. User can even set different ringtones on the phone. One can also play embedded games like Lock D Block and Khidki in his / her leisure time. Plus the availability of 3.5 mm audio jack further enables the user to use any headsets for the phone.

Connectivity and Battery

Although it does not support internet connection, but enables data transfer. For this, it has Bluetooth support to transfer files wirelessly between compatible devices and the USB support which helps in PC synchronization of your contacts and enables transfer of data from PC to phone and vice versa. On the battery front, it has Li-ion battery of 1800 mAh which gives decent battery backup.

Other Features

It comes loaded with some essential basic features like multi-language support, LED torch, alarm clock, calender and mobile tracker.
