LG Cookie Fresh GS290

The LG cookie Fresh GS290 is just as cute and slim as the first LG Cookie KP500, with its lovely matte finish. At the back is a 2.0-megapixel camera, which can be opened through the main menu or the camera button at the side, and gives good quality photos. The display is a 3-inch WQVGA touch screen with a clear resolution of 240 x 400 pixels. The screen is a resistive type, though, so more pressure is needed than when using a capacitive type.

There are three widget screens to choose from, as with the previous Cookie model. Multitasking is generally easy with this handset, with a central shortcut button at the bottom, and pop-up application widgets that are easily dismissed or opened. As for connectivity options, the handset is limited to basic phone settings such as SMS, MMS, and Bluetooth, but then again it does not support Wi-Fi or 3G.
