South Korean manufacturer, LG has been launching its smartphone steadily under the various series like a Pro, G and L. The LG G3 Beat is a latest device of G series unveiled at the Tianyi Mobile Phone Trade Exhibition, China. It is expected to be launched in India with the name of G3 Mini. It is also expected to be the successor of LG G3 smartphone which was recently launched in India by the company.

Display and Design

LG G3 Beat's front is dominated by a 5.0-inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen along with a display resolution of 720x1280 pixels. The screen flaunts a color depth of 16 million and 294 ppi pixel density that delivers a real life experience in rich and vivid colors. It responds beautifully to the multi touch gestures. For the user comfort, it also includes some sensors like proximity, accelerometer and compass.

Processor and OS

The phone is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor coupled with a RAM of 2GB for the fast and smooth app performance along with an ample space to the data that requires fast access. It runs on an Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system that ensure more refined and excellent service.

Camera and Memory

For the shutterbugs, it brings an 8 MP camera at the back with features like touch focus, LED flash, Geo-tagging, HDR, auto-focus and face & smile detection. The highest picture resolution you can set is 3264x2448 pixels. It also features a front camera for the front shots and video calling. To store the pictures, text files, audios and videos, it supports 16GB internal memory and 64GB expandable memory via microSD card which is quite high as compared to other smartphones of this class.

Connectivity and Battery

For the user connectivity, it offers Wi-Fi, GPRS, EDGE and 2G/3G/4G network. It has Bluetooth for the wireless data sharing along with a USB port to connect with other devices or for PC connections. The battery ticking inside is a Li-Ion 2540 mAh which is enough according to the set of specifications hosted by the phone.

Entertainment

In the terms of entertainment, it doesn't disappoint its users. It packs an audio system and FM Radio for the music buff. Well, you can also play games in your ideal time. Some other productive tools like organizer, voice memo/dial/ commands, SNS applications, document viewer, calendar and active noise cancellation with dedicated mic are also present on the phone. For mailing and messaging, the phone supports SMS, MMS, Email, Push Email and RSS.
