LG Optimus Net Dual is an Android smartphone having dual SIM compatibility. It is announced in 2011 is available in Black shade only. The device runs on 2G GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 and 3G HSDPA 900 / 2100 network frequencies and supports Mini-SIM.

Display and Dimensions

It has a 3.2 inches TFT capacitive touchscreen with a display resolution of 320 x 480 pixels and 180 ppi pixel density. It is equipped with accelerometer, proximity and compass sensors. The multi-touch phone comes with a height of 114mm, width of 59mm and a thickness of 12.1 mm as its dimensions and weighs at 102 grams.

Memory

The phone has an internal storage of 150 MB, 512 MB RAM and 32GB expandable memory which can be further upgraded by using memory card slot.

Processor and Operating System

The handset is powered by a 800 MHz ARMv6 Qualcomm MSM7227T processor and runs on Android OS, v2.3.4 (Gingerbread) operating system along with Adreno 200 GPU.

Camera

LG Optimus Net Dual flaunts a 3.15MP auto focus rear camera that exhibits a  resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels with Geo-tagging feature. But it does not has front camera.

Connectivity and Battery

The device is loaded with few connectivity features like GPS, microUSB v2.0, bluetooth v3.0 with A2DP, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, Wi-Fi hotspot, DLNA, GPRS and EDGE. The phone is energized by Li-Ion 1500 mAh battery which gives talk-time of upto 5 hours as well as 330 hours stand-by time.

Multimedia

The entertainment features packed in the phone are FM Radio, music player, video player, image viewer, 3.5mm Jack/Port and games. It offers SMS, MMS and Email facility to send and receive messages via these services.

Other Features

LG Optimus Net Dual is provided with some common features like calendar, voice memo, clock, alarm clock and in-built torch.

Verdict

Overall it is a budget phone with average camera quality with SIM / Data switch button. The output of loud speaker is average but otherwise it is a good smartphone.
