Overview

Mid-Range Smartphone With High End Specifications

Linshof i8 is a new smartphone from the German mobile maker kitty announced in November, 2014. It runs on latest Lollipop OS and packs a high-end specifications which makes it different from other mid-range smartphones. Another factor which make it a unique device is its odd shaped edges. Overall, its an innovative smartphone with stylish outlook and design.

Display and Dimensions

This oddly shaped device houses 5-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen at front along with a display resolution 1920x1080 pixels and 16 Million color depth. It responds beautifully to the multi-touch gestures. Measurement wise, it weighs at 140 grams. Overall, it is designed by using a bar format and is crafted with brushed aluminium of Black or coffee color.

Processor and OS

The phone packs a 2.1GHz Octa- core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and 3GB RAM which together performs its tasks and provide ample space to the data that need fast access. It lets you experience smooth app performance through Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system.

Camera and Memory

For the camera lovers, it has got a 13MP camera at back panel with LED flash, digital zoom, auto-focus, Sony CMOS sensor, 28mm wide-angle and fast low-light. The highest resolution one can set for the pictures is 4128x3096 pixels. On the other hand, it brings 8MP camera at front which clicks a picture of 3264x2448 pixels. Storage wise, it has internal memory of 80GB but it doesn't support microSD card.

Connectivity and Battery

It operates on 2G, 3G and 4G network frequencies. The connectivity features of the phone includes GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS, USB cable, NFC, Bluetooth and HDMI 1.4 with 3D support. The battery ticking inside the phone to assist day long usage period is of 3100mAh unit.
