Maxx AX3 Duo is a smartphone with dual SIM capabilities. It comes in a pack with a charger, battery, earphone, USB cable, user manual and warranty card. The phone is discussed in detail below.

Design and Display

The Maxx AX3 Duo is a good looking phone that is designed by using a compact form factor. The dimension figures include a height of 127mm, width of 63.43mm and thickness of 9.62mm along with a weight of 128.1grams. The front panel features a WVGA capacitive display of 4.0-inches which provides a resolution of 800x480 pixels.

Hardware and Software

The AX3 Duo is powered by a Dual-core 1 GHz processor accompanied by a MediaTek MT6517 chip-set. It has a RAM of 512 MB and same is the internal memory that is 512 MB. User can expand the memory up to 32 GB with the help of a micro SD card. It runs on the Android version 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

Telephony and Messaging

This dual SIM smartphone works efficiently with GSM 900/1800 MHz frequencies. The device has the capacity to store an unlimited number of contacts to its phonebook memory. It is featured with SMS, MMS and push email along with predictive text input which facilitates all of these three.

Camera

The device comes equipped with a 5 MP rear camera with an image resolution of 2592x1944 pixels. There is a LED flash for low light conditions and panorama for stunning landscapes. The 2 MP secondary camera facilitates video calling and captures 1600x1200 resolution selfies.

Connectivity and Battery

There are stacks of connectivity options as well, the phone supports GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP, micro USB v2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot and hands-free connectivity. It also supports GPS and A-GPS for navigation. Backing up the device is a Li-ion 1500 mAh battery which delivers a talk-time up to 4.5-5 hours and standby time up to 200 hours.
