The phone has a very comfortable design with a 3.7-inch touch screen. The phones dimensions are 64x129.5x13.5 mm and the phone weighs 178.5 grams which is a bit on the heavy side but the phone carries a 2500 mAH battery which lasts for a good seven hours for talk time (dual SIM operations). The phone has curved corners and made of high quality plastic which does not scratch easily. The screen is not scratch resistant and you have to be comfortable in using it.

User Interface and Comfort to Use Micromax A80 Superfone Infinity

The phone has a 3.7-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen, which responds very well to touch inputs. The phone does not have the capability of multi touch input. The home, back, search and menu button is on the bottom of the screen. The USB and power button are on the top and volume buttons are on the side. Camera and flash are at the back of the screen. The phone has an 800 MHz processor with 512MB of RAM. The memory can be expanded to 32 GB. The phone also has Aisha whose response is very good and prompt when you ask simple questions. The switching between the screens is not as smooth as the high-end phones but still very fast. The apps easily open with a simple tap. The phone has five customizable screens.

Telephony and Phonebook

The phone supports 2G Dual SIM and dual standby options. Switching between the SIMs is very easy. The call quality of the phone is above par and you will enjoy good call quality even at low signal strength. Voice calling with 3G signals is pretty smooth and good quality. The phonebook capacity is almost limitless and voice-dialling recognition is very smooth and fast. Picture ID and Ring ID can be used to identify a caller. The phone suppresses background noise and amplifies user voice a bit that makes the speech very clear.

Messaging and Emails

The phone supports SMS, MMS, Email (IMAP, POP3, SMTP), and Social networking services. Threaded view is supported so that you can read the conversation easier. The keyboard is very easy to use (both T9 and QWERTY mode).

Gallery, Photo Viewer and Video Player

The phone has a lot of space to store your favourite videos, pictures, songs and other documents. The photo viewer can be directly accessed from the screen and from the camera. Zoom and basic editing features are available on it. The video player of the phone supports 3GP and MP4 formats. The video player of the phone plays videos without any lags or delays.
