The domestic mobile maker, Micromax always came out with its budget friendly smartphones to beat the other Android smartphones in the market. The Micromax Bolt A065 is one of the affordable device by the company launched in August, 2014. It comes with a big screen, KitKat OS, 4GB internal memory, dual-core processor and a 2MP camera. The sales package of the phone includes battery, charger, earphone, USB cable, user manual and warranty card.

Display and Design

The Bolt A065 holds a 4-inch capacitive touch screen display in its beautifully designed body along with a resolution of 800x480 pixels. In the terms of looks, a thin golden strip around the side panel enhances the phone's look.

Processor and OS

It packs a 1.3GHz dual-core processor coupled with 512MB RAM under the hood, which allows the device to perform multiple tasks easily. The operating system version offered in this phone is an Android 4.4.2 KitKat which provides new features and improved design to the users.

Camera and Storage

It comes equipped with a 2MP rear camera with LED flash and digital zoom, which clicks at 1600x1200 pixels resolution. On the front, it includes 0.3MP camera for the acceptable quality selfies. It also allows you to capture and play videos of MP4, 3GP and WMV format. For the data storage, it has a 4GB internal memory which can be further expandable up to 32GB via microSd card.

Connectivity and Battery

The phone supports Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth and USB Port as its connectivity features. The battery ticking inside the phone is of 2000mAh unit which is rated to deliver a talk time of up to 7 hours and standby time of upto 360 hours.
