Micromax Bolt Q324 is a dual SIM Android smartphone of Bolt series. Its a budget friendly device announced in March, 2015. Micromax always comes out with affordable and feature rich smartphones to beat its rival and to rise high in the market competition. It comes pre-loaded with some exciting applications like M! Live, M! games, Opera, Hike, Clean Master, M! insurance, Snapdeal and Saavn. The handset houses a 4-inch screen, powerful quad-core processor, 2 MP rear camera, KitKat operating system, expandable memory support and 1450 mAh battery. It comes in a pack with handset, USB cable, charger, battery, user guide, warranty card and handsfree.

Display and Design

The phone features 4-inch WVGA screen at front which has a display resolution of 480x800 pixels and 262k color depth. It ensures distinct clarity while catching videos and stuff on screen. It packs a Dual SIM configuration to support two SIM's in single device. Designed by using a bar format, it holds a curved back with Micromax logo and smooth edges help you hold it easily even though it seems a bit heavy for its size.

Processor and OS

It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor that provides seamless performance with less power consumption and standby time. It is coupled with 512 MB RAM to handle all the tasks together. The operating system version offered in this phone is an Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

Camera and Memory

The rear panel contains a 2 MP camera for capturing every special moment and it provides a picture resolution of 1200x1600 pixels. It supports LED flash to allow photography in dim light condition. While, the front panel packs a 0.3 MP camera which offers acceptable quality selfies. The main camera is also capable of recording HD videos. The storage power to the phone is provided by an inbuilt memory of 4 GB which can be further expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card.

Connectivity and Battery

The connectivity features of the phone includes Wi-Fi, GPRS, 3G support, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS and USB cable. It operates on 2G (GSM 900/1800 MHz) and 3G (HSDPA 2100 MHz). While the power to the device is provided by a 1450 mAh battery that delivers a talktime of up to 5 hours and standby time of up to 279 hours.
