Micromax Canvas Elanza 2 A121 is the big screen and dual-SIM smartphone released in May 2014. It is a successor of recently launched 'Canvas Elanza A93'. The Elanza 2 comes in a pack with charger, earphone, USB cable, user manual, warranty card and handset battery. It can give a tough competition to the similar range mobile phones like Samsung Galaxy S Duos, Nokia XL, Karbonn Titanium S5 Plus and XOLO Q800 X-Edition.

Design and Display

The Elanza 2 comes with a 5-inch HD TFT-IPS multi touch display with a 720x1280 pixels of resolution that gives you a crystal clear view. The display flaunts 16.7M color depth and a pixel density of 294 ppi. The handset has a textured leather- like back panel which gives you a gentle feel and better grip, while holding phone.

Processor and Memory

At the heart, Elanza 2 has a Quad-core 1.2GHz processor, Qualcomm MSM8212 chipset along with a 4GB of RAM. It operates on Android v4.3 Jelly Bean operating system. It also feature few sensors like Accelerometer and proximity. For the storage of pictures, music, videos it has a 4GB of internal memory which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.

Camera

For the camera lovers, it comes equipped with a good 8MP rear camera which provides a picture resolution of 3264x2448 pixels. The other features offered by camera are LED flash, touch focus, geo-tagging and auto-focus facility. It is capable of recording 720 pixels of video. It also brings a front camera of 2MP for quality selfies and video calling. So just click your selfies and share it instantly on Facebook or other social networking site.

Elanza 2 also earn good points in the term of entertainment, it has an audio player, video player, FM radio, a loudspeaker, a 3.5mm jack. The audio formats supported by this phone are MP3, MP4, Midi, AAC, Amr and Wav.

For data and connectivity, it has GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi, microUSB v2.0, Bluetooth v4.0. It works on 2G (GSM 900/1800) and 3G (HSDPA 2100) network frequencies. To draw a good back-up, it has 2000mAh battery which delivers a stand-by time of up to 240 hours and talktime of up to 7 hours.
