The company has released the Canvas Gold A300, a dual SIM smartphone in June, 2014. It comes in a pack with a charger, headset, USB cable, user manual and a warranty card. Design and Display

Micromax Canvas Gold A300 has an extremely stylish and edgy design that makes it stand out from the crowd. The device flaunts a dazzling gold full aluminum body along with a thickness of 6.9mm. The overall look of phone is impressive with a nice wide full HD low temperature poly silicon display of 5.5-inches which provides a high resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. It also has accelerometer, gyro, light, hall and proximity sensors. There are three soft touch keys present below the display for options, home and back.

Hardware and Software

The Canvas Gold A300 is powered by a super fast Octa-core 2 GHz processor with Mediatek MTK6592T chip-set and has a massive RAM of 2 GB. The phone has enough power to handle the apps and software's that are thrown on its way. It has an internal memory of 32 GB but unfortunately there is no memory card slot present in the phone. It runs on the latest version of Android that is 4.4.2 KitKat operating system.

Telephony and Messaging

This dual SIM phone operates on 2G (GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz) and 3G (WCDMA 900/2100 MHz) network frequencies. The user can store a huge number of contacts in the phonebook memory of Canvas Gold A300.
