Selfie Focused Smartphone With Impressive Specifications

Micromax is a selfie focused smartphone packed with impressive specifications sheet. It was announced in December, 2014. It comes with dual SIM support and works on 2G (GSM : 900/1800/1900 MHz) and 3G (900/2100 MHz) network frequencies. The sales package include headset, handset, USB cable, user manual and warranty card. Here we come up with a quick look at the hardware and software of the smartphone.

Display

It has been supported with a 4.7- inch IPS multi- touch display with a HD resolution of 1280x720 pixels resulting in a pixel density of 313 ppi. It comes with a color support of 16 million. It is coated with Gorilla Glass 3 which protects it from getting affected by fingerprints and scratches. This display definitely offers a decent performance in giving all the basic tasks that is meant to without any problem. It comes with proximity sensor, gyroscope sensor, accelerometer sensor and ambient light sensor.

Processor and Operating System

The processor used in the camera centric handset is a 1.7 GHz Octa core processor along with 2GB RAM in order to store files, documents, songs, movies and videos. It runs on Android v4.4 (KitKat) operating system out of the box.

Camera and Storage

The device with 13 MP auto focus rear shooter with dual- LED flash which captures high quality images and record HD videos. One can click beautiful selfies with another 13 MP front snapper and can also make video calls. Both the shooters releases a resolution of 4128x3096 pixels. It has an internal storage capacity of 16 GB which can further be expanded up to 32 GB through microSD card slot present on the smartphone.

Connectivity and Battery

The connectivity attributes include 3G, USB, GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi and handsfree connectivity. Packed by a 2,300 mAh Li-ion battery, it has the capacity to offer uninterrupted service at least for one day.
