Micromax X1i Plus is an entry-level bar phone that lacks a web browser. This means that it is practically impossible to access the internet, download any apps or send an email from the phone. The lack of a web browser obviously makes it very unattractive to many people who use their phones regularly to access the internet or download various apps from the internet. The phone is therefore hardly likely to be a favourite with the younger crowds who are particularly keen on staying connected via various social media such as Facebook and Twitter. Its phonebook can only hold 100 contacts, which is low by any standards. The phone is, however, quite attractive to look at and this coupled with its theft tracker device and its long-lived battery might be its only redeeming feature. For a person whose sole interest is a phone that will reliably offer basic call and SMS functions, the phone is adequate.
