Micromax X253 is a small and simple phone. The phone is made of plastic but edges are curved gently which makes it easy to grip and handle. It comes loaded with a 1400 mAh battery which delivers an average talk-time of 5.5 hours and a stand-by duration of 248 hours. 

User Interface and Comfort to use 

The device flaunts a 2.4 inches display along with a numeric keypad present below and provides a resolution of 240 pixels. The keys are closely placed but responds to input signals very well. The device has an inbuilt memory of 83 KB which can be expanded up to 32 GB via micro SD card. 

Telephony and Phonebook

Micromax X253 has a dual SIM (GSM+GSM) support with dual stand by. The device has a capacity to store a list of just 100 contacts. The phonebook is also featured with a call log and voice call recording which makes it an interesting app.

Camera and Image Quality

The phone has a 0.3 MP VGA main camera which is featured with a digital zoom and provides a photo resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. There is no secondary camera available for the device.  

Connectivity Options 

Bluetooth, USB and GPRS are some of the connectivity options available for the Micromax X253. The phone is also featured with an Organizer, Clock, Alarm Clock and Calender.

Multimedia

Micromax X253 has a music player and FM radio for the listening pleasure. The cellphone is also facilitated by a video player and recorder which makes it more interesting. Micromax X253 comes pre-loaded with some of the games for the entertainment of users. 

Conclusion

Micromax X253 features a dual SIM support, voice call recording and FM radio which serves as a good package. But on the other hand poor battery back up and bad camera are its limitations. Those looking for an alternative can choose brands like Nokia or Samsung because these brands provide quality and moreover the resale value of these phones is pretty good.
