Microsoft Lumia 535 Dual is a windows based smartphone announced in November, 2014. This phone is also available in single SIM variant. It looks like Nokia Lumia 530 which was released in July, 2014. It is the first smartphone from Microsoft without Nokia branding. The box contents includes a handset, charger, headset, battery, USB cable, user manual and warranty card. The specifications and features of the smartphone are discussed below:

Design and Display

The handset comes with a 5-inch IPS LCD screen multi touch display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 with a resolution of 960x540 pixels. It has 16 million color support and offers a pixel density of 220 ppi. It is equipped with sensors which includes proximity, accelerometer and ambient light sensor. Microsoft has used a bar format to design this smartphone. Talking about its dimensions, it has got a height of 140.2, a width of 72.4 mm and a thickness of 8.8 mm. It carries a weight of 146 grams.

Processor and OS

Microsoft Lumia 535 Dual works on Windows Phone 8.1 operating system thereby providing free access to Microsoft's packages such as OneNote, Skype and OneDrive. It is powered by 1.2 GHz Quad core processor on Snapdragon 200 chipset. It is packed with a 1 GB RAM which helps you to perform multi tasks easily and comfortably.

Storage and Camera

The Lumia 535 is being offered with a 5 MP autofocus camera along with LED flash supporting f/2.4 aperture for better light and focal length of 28mm. One of the important features of this smartphone is 5 MP shooter that also supports LED flash which enables the user to capture quality shots even in light conditions. It comes packed with an internal storage of 8 GB which can be expanded up to 128 GB by inserting memory card slot.

Connectivity and Battery

For the connectivity options, the smartphone supports 3G, GPS with GLONASS, Micro-USB 2.0, bluetooth v4.0, A2DP, A-GPS, EDGE, GPRS and Wi-FI IEEE 802.11 b/g/n. It has a battery backup of BL-L4A 1905 mAh which is rated to deliver upto 11 hours talktime on 2G network as well as 13 hours on 3G network.

Multimedia and Other Features

Microsoft has added various entertaining features in the phone like 3.5mm jack/port, radio, image viewer, voice recording, music player, video player, image/video editor, voice recording and games. Other features offered by the company includes calendar, clock, voice memo, voice dialing and organiser.

The Microsoft Lumia 535 Dual comes with changeable back covers in White, Gray, Orange, Blue and Green finishes.
