E250 has high quality built in features & technologies which most user have come to expect from their mobile phone but all within a good budget & with a high quality finish. The handset comes with a smooth slide open mechanism which allows the user to view the large colour screen when the handset is closed or open. The handset comes with bevelled edges & with a tactile coating which feels good to hold & to operate.
The E250 looks hot. It’s slim, it’s stylish and it’s a slider. In fact, the E250 is the only slider phone that looks this good and sells for this price. Compared to the 6085 and the Z550i, the E250 clearly stands out. Buttons and ports on the E250 have been kept to a minimum. There’s a microSD card slot on the left side and a headset/charger port on the right side.
Combining ports saves space, but because of this, you won’t be able to use the headset to listen to music or the radio while you’re recharging the phone. On the left, there is also the volume rocker. There is no shortcut to launch the camera or music player, other than the navigation pad shortcuts, which are configurable.
The large screen is 2 Inches in size & provides a 128 x 160 pixel screen resolution. The user can view up to 65 thousand colours on the 2 Inch display. The phone comes with a integrated VGA camera which comes with camcorder video capabilities. The camera feature allows the user to take still photos as well as record moving video clips.
The VGA camera comes with a CMOS sensor which provides the user with high quality imaging & clear photo capture. The camera & video feature comes with a 4 x digital zoom for those close up shots. The video recording feature allows the user to record up to one hours worth of video complete with sound.
The Samsung E250 comes with a black user interface which provides a stylish way for the user to view the phones menus, as the bright colours show up beautifully against the black background. The phone comes in three colors – silver, black and a relatively uncommon pink. The silver one looks fine, but the black is the real deal.
