Good GPS Windows Mobile

HTC Touch Cruise is surely one of the most interesting Windows Mobile Pro devices to hit the shelves recently. HTC Touch Cruise Full offers multimedia experience with the large 2.8-inch touch screen having revolutionary TouchFLO™ touch-screen technology that allows finger-touch scrolling, panning, and photo zooming. It has innovative 3D Touch Cube interface for quick and easy navigation. Its advance worldwide connectivity (3G and GPRS/EDGE/GSM) offers easy and fast connectivity. What makes the Touch Cruise different from the other HTC models is its built-in GPS feature for finding driving directions, locating restaurants and other services, and creating alternate routes when there's traffic. It also comes with mapping and navigation software from TomTom, a GPS systems provider.

The front of the HTC Touch Cruise is mirrored on the whole with its flush screen and chrome button panel at the bottom. There is the usual green dial and red hang up buttons at the top of the button panel and below a communications button that funnily enough launches the messaging application by default. Next to this is an Internet Explorer button which is quite self explanatory really. At the top of the device is the earpiece and at the top right is a forward facing camera for video calls. For navigation there is a rotating jog wheel which features an action button in its centre. Above the screen there is a front VGA-camera for video telephony and a speaker with two indicators. The left burns green, yellow and red - a signal, an event and a charge. The right - blue, green and yellow - Bt, Wi-Fi and GPS.

Become a professional photographer with 3 megapixel camera with auto-focus for shooting photos/videos and a second camera for video calls or self-portraits. It has built-in turn-by-turn GPS navigation with TomTom® software offers you a full navigation experience. It is amazing in providing entertainment features including an FM radio, MP3 player, and video playback. The 400Mhz processor is a welcome step up from the slower alternatives available in some devices, the original HTC Touch included. The TouchFLO interface is far more responsive for example which is great, its not something you realise you need until you experience it to be honest which surprised me. The additional integrated memory is also a welcome feature and is something that every user of the HTC Touch will have noticed there is a lack of so its great to see it rectified in the Touch Cruise.
