HTC launched an updated version of the original Touch with some added features and high performance. Earlier, HTC version was without 3G features, GPS and headphones. It had just 256MB memory and memory slot beneath the battery.

The HTC Touch Viva comes with advanced features in which touch screen is recessed a couple of millimeters from the phone's casing. It may reduce scratch probability but increases the touch phone complexity.

It supports highly efficient web browser features compatible with the Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. The manufacturer has used Opera as a default browser to experience high data rate internet access with zooming features. However, it does not support landscape mode option.

It is provided with basic camera of 2 mega pixel variety and movement to next page with simple touch of finger. One can experience quality music but there is no provision of headphone.

So, a mini USB adaptor is required to add on pairs. The HTC Touch Viva supports good battery life and that makes it compatible with other touch phones in the market.

Main features of HTC Touch Viva:

  • Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional
  • Opera Browser
  • 2MP camera
  • 128MB RAM with 256MB ROM
  • TI OMAP 850, 201 MHz processor
  • TFT touchscreen, 65K colors
