The HTC Touch 3G is the new improved version of the HTC Touch that came out last year. It is a cool looking phone and in line with the insustry trend of making keys obsolete. Like any other HTC mobile phone errr smart phone it has also smart features to let you do PC worthy tasks on it.
Starting with the network support, the HTC Touch 3G is a quad-band phone that allows global roaming. It offers 3G HSDPA connectivity which means you can enjoy up to 18 times more download speed on it than the standard 3G.
Live Video streaming from Youtube can be enjoyed on the HTC Touch 3G as well. Other than 3G, it also offers GPRS, EDGE & WiFi support. Its Native support for Google Maps along with A-GPS means you won't miss the directions, where ever you are. It is relatively light weight & looks very cute with the rounded corners. It weighs only 96 gms which is impressive for a phone with a big display and power pack features behind it.
The display of HTC Touch 3G has 65K color TFT Touchscreen with resolution of 240X320 pixels & occupies 2.8 inches. The display features the revolutionary - TouchFLO finger swipe navigation that allows you to manage the entire navigation as well as typing a text without requiring a keypad.
It does not feature a keypad. It only features few hotkeys for handling phone calls. All the work can be easily managed with your finger gestures on the TouchFLO finger swipe navigation.
It comes with the latest Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional & 192 MB RAM. Another important feature of the new Touch 3G is its 528 Mhz Qualcomm Processor which lets you enjoy the touch display with zero delay.
