Motorola ZN300

motorola zn300

The phone that put Motorola on the map was the Motorola RAZR. It was that ultra thin flip phone, that everyone seemed to have at some stage. However the problem was that this design started becoming synonymous with Motorola and for some time the only new phones that came out were RAZR upgrades and subtle changes. This all changed, with the Motorola ZN300, which is a slide phone.

Motorola ZN300 features a 3.1 MP camera with LED flash, video recording, 8x digital zoom and pre-loaded social networking services - Facebook, MySpace, Photobucket and YouTube. The ZN300 has 8MB of internal memory, expandable upto 32GB via microSD slot, measures 95.6 x 46 x 15 mm and weights 103g. ZN300 is expected to be available in multiple markets beginning in Q1 2009.

With familiar digital camera functionality and a strong feature set, MOTO ZN300 delivers a full imaging and multimedia experience. This compact slider is packed with features that let you connect, capture and share your view of the world through photos, videos and social networking. Snap clear pictures and capture video using the 3.1 megapixel camera with LED flash and 8x digital zoom. Familiar functionalities bring all the comforts of a digital camera to the mobile phone, such as a dedicated camera key and a Camera Mode Switch for easily shifting between camera, video and review modes.

Controls light up to offer an uncluttered and intuitive imaging experience as the camera moves between “Capture” and “Review” modes. After sending images to friends and family, transfer or print photos using Stereo Bluetooth technology for wire-free printing and image sharing. Store more music and memories on ZN300 with up to 32GB of optional removable memory. Share all your saved content with home computers and other devices using the USB 2.0 High Speed connection, which enables transfers fifteen times faster than traditional USB 2.0 Full Speed.

Popular pre-loaded social networking services1 - Facebook, MySpace, Photobucket and YouTube - give you the ability to publish photos, videos and blog postings, with just one click. You can then easily share clips via MMS to friends and family so you always stay in touch and show the snapshots of your world. Video Mixer gives you the option to add customizable or preloaded transitions and sound effects to videos. Instantly mix them with photos and audio files for a professional-looking clip, complete with transitions and overlays. Crystal Clear Communications: Motorola’s exclusive CrystalTalk technology amplifies your conversation and helps reduce background noise so virtually nothing comes between you and your call.

The Motorola ZN300 has a decent size screen that takes up roughly half of the font of the phone. There are of course the standard applications like calendar, clock, organiser and alarm and internet connection is superb with EDGE and Bluetooth. Motorola have also used the Opera Browser to make surfing the net easier. As stated earlier, they have preloaded programs like Facebook, Myspace and Youtube, and this makes it very easy and quick for you to update your profile online and add pictures and videos as you go. Overall Motorola ZN300 is a slider phone from Motorola that has good looks, a decent music player and camera and great internet connection.
