Samsung M6710 Beat DISC is a music and video multimedia device which features Bang & Olufsen audio technology, and advanced music features that allow for finding, purchasing, and recommending music.

The result of a four year collaboration between the two companies, B&O's ICEpower amplifier pushes out rich and powerful sound - for deep bass and clear treble.

The SRS Virtual surround sound 5.1ch uses audio processing technology to create an immersive 3D soundfield. Samsung's DNSe (Digital Natural Sound Engine) provides higher-quality sound with more natural effects with realistic stereo and deep bass sounds by overcoming limitations from earphones and less-than-ideal speakers

With a vivid 2.6-inch QWVGA (240x500 pixels) TFT touchscreen display, a 3 megapixel camera, and a microSD external memory card slot for external memory, the device could be a great choice for music lovers.

The BEAT DISC is a bit of a strange device from what we experienced. It shares many of the features of the BEAT DJ. The touch sensitive surface extends beyond the bottom of the display and is used for a scrolling type function. The slide out keypad is flat but is comfortable to use when one gets used to it.

Sporting quad band GSM connectivity with GPRS and EDGE data technology, the Samsung Beat Disc M6710 also offers dual band UMTS support with HSDPA high speed data connectivity with download speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps as well as stereo Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP and USB 2.0.

With data sharing made easy the Samsung Beat Disc lets you transfer data in just a few clicks and with support for up to 16GB of memory there’s even more room for saving music and photos.

The 3.5G enabled slider with its advanced MP3 music player and additional features is the perfect choice for even the most dedicated of music listeners creating solid competition for the likes of the Nokia 5800 Xpress Music phone.

Boasting a built-in accelerometer sensor the Samsung M6710 Beat Disc also features intergrated stereo FM radio with RDS, support for JAVA and email, 3.5mm AV connector and document viewer.
