lg gm730 windows mobile

LG has announced the details of LG GM730, a Windows Mobile 6.5 device that lies at the heart of its upcoming “easy-to-use” smartphone range. The company has recently signed a special contract with Microsoft, allowing them to be the first manufacturer of a phone with the latest version of Wndows 6.5. On top of Windows Mobile, the LG-GM730 will provide LG’s dynamic, direct and intuitive S-Class User Interface.

Built-around a 3D cube layout, S-Class User Interface provides four customizable home screens. The simple flick of a finger instantly turns the cube from one side to the next. S-Class User Interface eliminates nested menus wherever possible, providing more direct access to features and applications.E-mail set up has been simplified, requiring just one click. Internet Explorer 6.0 enhances the web experience. It's really nice of LG to have made the effort to mask as much of the Windows interface as possible. There are five homescreens, each responsible for controlling a different part of the UI - contacts, image gallery, etc. The native start menu is still present but LG promise to have that covered too before the release. The LG GM730 looks pretty nice in reality and handles very well. The 3" touchscreen device fits pretty well in most hands and the nicely thumbable interface provide for pretty decent single-handed use.

Advanced multimedia features such as a 5 megapixel camera, MP3 player and numerous action-packed games make this phone a full-featured entertainment device. The LG-GM730 incorporates LGs signature style with a slim, seamless profile and smooth, stylish rounded edges. At just 11.9 mm and highlighted by an elegant chrome band, this slim handset is the perfect on-the-go device for new as well as experienced Smartphone users. LG are priced at a very affordable range in various store in India. LG GM730 has been priced at Rs 22,500.
