Sunday, August 09, 2009LG has announced the launch of Dynamite GM200 in India which is a triband GSM network ready candybar style music phone featuring a large 2.0-inch 256K colors color display, 2.0 MP digital camera, powerful MP3 and media player, integrated FM Radio with recording, microSD memory card slot and Dolby powered internal speakers. It is equipped with dedicated music buttons that allows users quick access to their stored music files for playing on a sophisticated music player.
It comes with 14-MB of internal shared memory and features microSD Memory Card Slot for expanded memory with maximum 2-GB storage space. The handset allows upto 1000 entries phonebook, 500 SMS ans 100 MMS memory along with 50 dialed, 50 received, 50 missed calls records.
GM200 Dynamite has a standard 3.5mm earphone socket on top and the handsfree that is equipped with the appropriate jack. Even though the handsfree is quite decent when it comes to dishing out audio, you also have the option of listening to music via any other earphones of your personal preference.
It is a true music phone and sports a advanced integrated MP3 media player which supports AAC, AAC+, AAC+ Enhanced, MP3, Midi, AMR, MPEG4, H.263, WMA Audio formats. Media player software allows music files sorting and browing on various parameters like artist, album, type (blues, classical, pop) etc and offers many equalizer presets like virtual bass, clear, live performance, rock, jazz, classical, pop, low music etc.
GM200 music phone allows users to use compatible wireless bluetooth headphones with the phone and listen to music wirefree using its integrated bluetooth +A2DP connectivity. It also sports DOLBY 2.1 stereo speakers with Subwoofer powered by LG’s Sound Engineering Engine and DOLBY Mobile Audio Engine. The 3.5mm audio port allows hooking your choice of headphones.
It 2.0 Megapixels resolution digital camera with maximum of 1600 x 1200 pixels resolution having Schneider-Kreuznach optics allowing 4X Digital Zoom, Night Mode, Multi Shot and Autofocus functions, Self timer, Brightness Adjustment, White Balance, and built-in flash. Multi shot function allows upto 9 shot, 5 shot, 3 shot, or 1 shot. Color effects options include Sepia, Mono and Negative and white balance options allow Auto, Daylight, Incandescent or indoor environment, Cloudy and Fluorescent.
It also offers support for ISO 800 for low light shooting along with ISO 400, 200, 100 and 80. The camera also allows continuous video recording (and playback) in MP4 / 3GP formats in 176 x 144 and 320 x 240 pixels resolution. The video capture mode allows integrated LED Flash, White Balance, and Color Effects. The video files formats include MP4, and 3GP formats.
Connectivity options in LG GM200 mobile phone including GPRS class 10 connection with upto 48 kbps, EDGE Class 10 with upto 236.8 kbps connection, Bluetooth v2.0 + A2DP wireless connection, and WAP 2.0, xHTML browser along with a standard USB v2.0/v1.2 port support for wired connectivity. The phone supports polyphonic 64 channels ringtones supporting MP3, AAC+, AAC+ Enhacned, MIDI, and SMAF audio formats.
It comes with a integrated FM radio with autoscan for upto 9 station presets in 12 groups for faster and easier access. The integrated FM radio also offers live or scheduled recording which can be saved and also used as ringtones. The music phone also allows FM alarm feature which switches to preset FM station on schedule. The FM radio can also be played on Speakerphone.
It comes with a unique Anti-theft Mobile Tracker which can help trace the handset if stolen. In an event of handset having stolen and the SIM removed after having activated a new SIM card in the same handset, the two alternate mobile numbers a user had entered while setting up the anti-theft feature would automatically receive the SMS informing about the new SIM number and the location of the theft. This info can be used for filing your police complain.
