Mitashi Sky Tab 2 is a smart tablet specially designed for kids. It was announced and released in September, 2014 in the Sky series of Mitashi. It is priced at Rs. 6,999 approx.(may vary) which is quite affordable to every pocket. It holds a quite impressive design that fascinates every child with its eye- catchy Blue color. Most interesting part of this tablet is its parental control feature and 27 preloaded kids- friendly applications.

Display and Design

The tab adorns a 7- inch touchscreen at front which has a display resolution of 600x976 pixels. It also has a height of 70mm, width of 255mm as its dimensions and it weighs at 850 grams. As far as looks are concern, it holds a quite attractive looks and it is crafted with kid tough case for the protection. Start button of the tab is fitted at right side whereas Volume up and low button is at left side.

Processor and OS

Under the hood, it packs a 1GHz dual- core processor that is coupled with 1GB RAM to perform its basic tasks. Operating the device is an Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS which is not an upgraded version but it is sufficient according to the kids needs.

Camera and Memory

The device is also capable of clicking pictures through its 2MP rear camera which provides a picture resolution of 1600x1200 pixels. While, one can also click selfies of 640x480 pixels with its 0.3MP front- facing camera. To store the data, it comes loaded with an internal memory of 8GB which can be further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.

Connectivity and Battery

The connectivity features of the tab includes Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB cable and handsfree connectivity. The battery ticking inside the phone is of 3300mAh unit which is rated for giving long usage period.
