MTS has released a new smartphone called the Blaze 4.0 in March, 2014. The smartphone is particularly meant for the internet generation. It features Dual SIM facility with GSM + CDMA support.

Design and Build Quality

Blaze 4.0 has a 125.9 mm of height, 64.7 mm of width and 10.8 mm of thickness as its dimensions  The front of the phone features a 4-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen, that provides a resolution of 480x800 pixels. MTS Blaze 4 packs a Li-Ion battery of 1,400 mAh that ensures uninterrupted talktime of up to 4hours and Standby time of up to 200hours.

User Interface and Comfort to Use

The device has a powerful 1.2 GHz Snapdragon S4 processor featuring Dual Core CPU, EVDO and GSM modem. Also it has been assisted with 512 MB of RAM. It works on Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2 Operating System. On the storage part, it has 4GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 32GB with a microSD slot.

Camera and Image Quality

Blaze 4.0 avails a 3.2MP rear camera with Auto-focus, Flash and Zoom facility.

Connectivity Options

Since this phone is specially meant for internet usage, it supports connectivity with Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi, USB and EVDO Rev A ( 3.1Mbps ). Also it is worth mentioning that MTS Blaze 4.0 comes with an attractive offer, providing 1 Lac MB of data usage for 1 year on MTS 3G network. For this, one just needs to do an initial recharge of Rs 198 and the remaining, unused data will be forwarded to his/her phone every month for 1 year.

Other features

The phone comes with a Piano Lock feature with which one just needs to press any 3 keys of piano to lock / unlock his phone.
